FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
We stock a large range of portable fire extinguishers and fire blankets - See below for further information.
All new extinguishers (and fire blankets) are kitemarked to current British Standards and are refillable units. Fire extinguishers
are supplied with a mounting bracket included, ID signs are sold seperatly but should be displayed above each fire extinguisher
to show what it can be used on etc.
Fire extinguisher covers, stands and cabinets are also available and sold seperatly.
We can also supply stainless steel and chrome finish fire extinguishers.
All fire extinguishers and fire blankets are to be subject to a routine annual inspection to ensure that
they are kept in good working order and up to current British Standards.

WATER SPRAY FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

The Water extinguisher is still one of the most useful and cost-effective ways to put out free-burning materials such as paper, wood and fabrics.

C02 (CARBON DIOXIDE) FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Available in 2kg and 5kg capacities
For electrical fires or flammable liquids CO2 is ideal. Harmless to electrical equipment and so is ideal for offices and workshops. Both these extinguishers have non-conductive, anti-static horns.

ABC DRY POWDER FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

Dry Powder is a highly versatile medium for tackling most types of fires. Extremely effective on electrical hazards, flammable liquids and gases, which makes this ideal for vehicle fires.

AFFF FOAM FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Available in 2ltr and 6ltr capacities
Spray foam extinguishers provide a fast, powerful means of tackling flammable liquids. The foam forms a seal over the surface to prevent re-ignition. Ideal for multi-risk usage and safe to use in close proximity to electrical equipment.

WET CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Available in 6ltr capacity
The specialist wet chemical extinguishers are ideal for Class F fires, involving cooking oils and fats, such as lard, olive oil, sunflower oil, maize oil and butter. It is extremely effective as the wet chemical rapidly knocks the flames out, cools the burning oil and chemically reacts to form a soap-like solution, sealing the surface and preventing re-ignition.
